The well-known GateHouse AIS Display software is now available for PDAs and smart phones. Basically, we are talking about carrying your maritime awareness with you.

Mobile GAD is used for displaying AIS related data. Similar to the GAD and WebGAD applications.  The difference is that with the Mobile GAD you have your AIS information at your hand wherever you are, e.g. as a port operator you are  able to leave the office and still follow the traffic in the port.
