On March 14, US Ambassador James P. Cain visited GateHouse. Ambassador Cain was given a short introduction to GateHouse and its successful history, especially the activities on the US market.
Ambassador Cain’s visit follows that of another prominent guest as Danish Minister of Defence Søren Gade visited GateHouse back in January. At both occasions, GateHouse’s possibilities on the American market were discussed.
GateHouse has been working its way into the American market for some years, and the company has succeeded in selling its products to a few influential clients. Currently GateHouse is preparing for the US Coast Guard’s acquisition of a nationwide AIS solution (that is, a national Automatic Identification System for surveillance of maritime traffic). The US Coast Guard is expected to make a decision later this year, and GateHouse is making a great effort to be on the winning team.
After the meeting at GateHouse, Ambassador Cain said, “I am pleased that such innovative and visionary companies as GateHouse are making progress entering the US market."
GateHouse CEO Niels Buus added, “We are happy to have this opportunity to brief the US Ambassador on our activities. On the US market GateHouse is a small company, and we are interested in building every relation that can be helpful on our way.”
