When the old beautiful monohull vessels approach Aalborg this summer it will be possible for the public in Aalborg to tollow the vessels long before they become visible with the naked eye. 

GateHouse and Port of Aalborg are arranging a large screen at Nytorv displaying the sailing routes of the vessels, and tracking the ships from they enter Danish waters to the finishing line in Aalborg. This way the public will be able to follow the race before the ship enters the locality around Aalborg.

It is a GateHouse display solution that enables the maritime data from the vessel to be displayed on the screen. Ship tracking data is delivered from the Danish Maritime Safety Administration.
