Timely Response to Potential Threats

Given the potential for environmental catastrophe and collateral damage, maritime and offshore safety is of paramount importance to both operators and administrations. Historically, surveillance of offshore vessel traffic in areas surrounding wind farms, oil fields and pipelines has been the domain of radar-based surveillance which is considerably limited in comparison to the now widely deployed AIS (Automatic Identification System).

Our software, combined with one or more AIS base stations, provides our customers with the means to monitor and communicate with vessels in any area of open water as well as providing visibility with regard to the movements and arrival times of service vehicles (both sea- and air-borne.

Enhanced visibility allows operators to protect costly assets and avoid expensive down time by enabling a more timely response to potential threats, such as collisions with platforms or infrastructure.

The visibility and automated monitoring features that GateHouse software provides also allow operators to more closely and accurately monitor supply vehicles. Solutions combining both shore-side and off-shore data collection allow our customers to accurately monitor both arrival and departure times.

Features such as audible alerts and custom colouring of fleet vessels on the graphical display system ensure that operators are not overloaded by irrelevant information and are able to concentrate on other tasks, such as monitoring other systems without unnecessary interruption.
