TCM Controller - BGAN Test Automation

Reduce the manual effort required to conduct MTR testing of BGAN User Terminals

When testing a BGAN terminal, a suite of TTCN tests is usually executed in the Test Case Manager (TCM). Using this tool it is possible to set up automatic execution of a sequence of tests. However some manual configuration and restarting is necessary.

GateHouse has added another level of automation to this tool by implementing a TCM Controller application.

The TCM Controller features are:

  • Starting and stopping Test Case Manager (TCM) test execution. Either when test parameters must be changed or test execution has stopped or failed for other reasons
  • Automatically collecting test results and storing these in a SQL database
  • Presentation of test results with different filters, either by using the application itself, exporting them to a spreadsheet, or using a web based presentation tool
  • Configuration of different BGAN terminal parameters and restarting test execution
  • Decreasing total test time required for a terminal by using synchronized parallel test setups
  • Automatically collecting log file information for later inspection
  • Allowing tests to be run repeatedly in order to generate statistics or analyse rarely occurring failures
  • Flexible open interface to starting, stopping and configuring a terminal
  • Single user licence and site licences avaiable.
